Max
Max and his Toller Robin [JavaHill Boy Wonder RN, NA, NF, TF, FDX, SPD, TT, CGC] have been together since March of 2006 when Robin arrived in our home at the tender age of 3 months. They have made a great pair from the beginning, although Robin's Toller-tactics have sometimes driven Max crazy! Max has shown Robin in conformation, including Jr Handling competitions, and is active in both Rally and agility as well. The pair started dabbling in flyball in late 2006 and are now proud members of the Ballistic Racers flyball team. If Robin and his Toller teammates Blast and Jag could talk, they would tell you what we as humans already know….Tollers Rule!!

Hello, my name is Robin and I am a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. My human, Max, has had several names for me since I arrived to live with him in 2006 but my favorite is Noodlehead [I think noodles are some sort of human food so it must be a term of endearment?]. Like my Toller team mate, Blast, I am a crazed weasel and I get the impression that sometimes my human Max gets a bit frustrated with me….but then I put on my cute Toller face and he smiles [humans are sooooo easy to charm]. I think Max and I are a great team and we have titled together in a several different venues so I guess it is fair to say that I am mostly a good boy, except when the "weasel within" makes an appearance! I love flyball because I can run, bark, scream and fetch a ball several times in one afternoon….what could be better than that? |
