Jennifer
Jennifer has been around animals her whole life. Her father was/is a marine mammal trainer/specialist for over 35 years now. He worked with Killer Whales, Otters, Harbor Seals, Sea Lions, Dolphins, Beluga Whales, etc… It was natural for her to follow in his footsteps and became first a Dolphin Trainer at a facility in Myanmar and now is a successful Dog Trainer. Jennifer started her Dog Training career in June of 2005 and has not looked back. She first worked for a training facility in Carlsbad, CA for little over 2 years, then started her own business called “Jenns Family Pack” in 2008 and now owns and operates Canine Wellness Center in San Marcos, CA as of January 5th 2009. Because of her passion for what she does she knew there was more out there to get involved with. Her and Meika first tried Agility and really liked it but there was still something missing. When she read more about Flyball Jenn knew this was the sport for them. She found the Ballistic Racers and set up an Eval right away. Meika took to it pretty quickly and is improving every week. They could not be happier with the team they are a part of as well as the friendships they have made!!

Meika
Meika is a Yorkshire Terrier born on November 21, 2006. I adopted her when she was 1 year old, but knew her since she was 3 months. I knew she would be quite the athlete even at 3 months and boy has she turned into one. She has 1 brother named Jack who is a Lab/Pointer mix and the only big dog she will tolerate!! She was born an Alpha Female and will let you know as often as she can. But because of that she was also born with A LOT of drive. She loves to play ball, tug-a-war and “find-it”. She is also very loving; loves to snuggle, sit on your lap, be petted and she actually likes to do obedience! Flyball has been the best thing to come into our lives; it gives her something to do, to focus on and it has help us gain a loving and respectful relationship. She is my little “Princess” and Dad’s little “Tom Boy”…On November 14th, 2009 Meika became the fastest Yorkie in U-Fli with a time of 6.662 seconds!!
